The Queensland Junior Basketball Competition (QJBC) represents the premier level of competition for junior athletes aged Under 12 to Under 18 across South, Central, and North Queensland.

Offering multiple divisions for both boys and girls, the QJBC provides a clear pathway for elite junior players to proudly represent their local associations.
Sunshine Coast Phoenix proudly fields over 32 teams in the Southern Queensland Basketball League (SQJBC) representative program, involving more than 385 athletes and nearly 100 dedicated coaches and team managers.
With record-breaking participation at trials each year, SCBA continues to thrive - nurturing and developing the next generation of basketball talent on the Sunshine Coast.
At the conclusion of the SQJBC season, teams from South Queensland then combine with Central and North Queensland representatives to compete at the prestigious Queensland State Championships, where the best junior players from across the state go head-to-head.
